Columbia Homemaker Uncovers $10,000 On Cash Spectacular Ticket

Story Photo audio icon A Columbia homemaker can add $10,000 to her savings after she uncovered a $10,000 prize on a Missouri Lottery "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" Scratchers ticket on June 16. Doris Ross, 51, said she cashed in a $20 winner from a previous ticket purchase and used those winnings to buy two more tickets when she was at Break Time, 1410 Forum Blvd. in Columbia. One of those tickets turned out to be a big winner.
"I’ve been playing the game probably since it started back in the fall," said Ross.
Ross said she plans to save the prize money.
The new "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" game, which officially started on Sept. 10, 2005, has the one of the highest payouts and offers more than $102.5 million in cash prizes, including 10 top prizes of $1 million. More than 75.14 percent of the $10 game’s sales will be returned to players as prizes.
