Hannibal Store Owner Wins $3,400 in Lottery Prizes

Story Photo audio icon The owner of Parson’s Shell in Hannibal won three Missouri Lottery prizes on May 9 for a total windfall of $3,400. Ron Parsons, 49, said he won $3,250 when the numbers he dreamt the night before were drawn in the evening Pick 4 drawing. Those numbers were 5, 2, 1 and 0. He also won $50 in that night’s Pick 3 drawing and $100 on a "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" Scratchers ticket.
"I dreamt that number hit the night before," said Parsons. "So I played last night, and it hit."
Parsons said he plans to share his prize money with his three grown sons.
"I’ll probably give to the kids; split it up with them," he said. "They can always use the help."
Parsons bought all three of his winning tickets at his station, located at 2000 Highway 61 S. in Hannibal. He said he plays Pick 4 twice a day.
Pick 4 is a twice-daily cash Numbers Game that allows players a chance to win up to $6,000.
