Mexico Man Uncovers $20,000
Orr Pierce, 46, is a little bit "richer" after uncovering a $20,000 prize on one of the newest Scratchers games, "Lifetime Riches."
Pierce stopped at Abel’s Quick Shop, 503 W. Monroe in Mexico, Mo., to purchase a Lottery ticket. He chose one $10 "Lifetime Riches" ticket. Pierce said it was shocking at first when he realized he won.
"I called my mom," Pierce said. "She asked what I was going to do. I told her I was going to wash my car first."
The new "Lifetime Riches" game, which officially started April 22, has the highest payout in the Lottery’s history and offers more than $100 million in cash prizes, including 10 top prizes of $50,000 a year for life. More than 75.62 percent of the $10 game’s sales will be returned to players as prizes.
