$30,000 Powerball Ticket Sold in Jefferson City

Story Photo A Missouri Powerball player who buys tickets at Schultes Fresh Foods in Jefferson City is now $30,000 richer! A Powerball ticket sold there for the April 1 drawing matched four of the five white-ball numbers and the Powerball drawn to win the $10,000 prize. In addition, the player selected the Power Play option to multiply the usual $10,000 prize to $30,000, since the Power Play number drawn that night was three. The winning numbers from that drawing were: 1, 10, 23, 50, 55 and the Powerball was 29. "If you buy Powerball tickets at Schultes, be sure to check your tickets," said Gary Gonder, director of communications for the Missouri Lottery. Powerball winners have exactly 180 days from the drawing to claim their prize. In this case, the winner has until Sept. 28. If you discover you hold the winning ticket, sign the back and take it to the Lottery’s headquarters located at 1823 Southridge Drive in Jefferson City.
