Florissant Couple Finds $100,000 Top Prize

A Florissant couple recently uncovered a $100,000 top prize on a Missouri Lottery "$100,000 Texas Hold ’Em" Scratchers ticket. Deborah "Debbie" Haynes, 47, said her husband, Dalfred, purchased four of the tickets at Black Jack Firestone, 4895 Parker Road in Black Jack, where she works as a cashier. They scratched off two tickets each at home and one of Dalfred’s tickets turned out to be worth $100,000.
"I just couldn’t believe it," said Deborah Haynes. "I kept trying to find a mistake."
The Haynes said they plan to use the prize money to make repairs on their house.
"$100,000 Texas Hold ’Em," a $5 Scratchers game, officially started Jan. 28.
