Retired Eldridge Housekeeper Cleans Up With $25,000 Lottery Prize

Story Photo A retired housekeeper from Eldridge cleaned up on Feb. 2, when she bought one Missouri Lottery Scratchers ticket and won $25,000. Dora Pankey, 71, said she and her husband stopped at Kwik Pantry, 707 N. Jefferson in Lebanon, for gasoline when they bought the winning ticket. "I never expected it," Pankey said. "But it makes you feel good." Pankey said she and her husband, William, haven’t decided what they will do with their prize money. "5 Times Lucky" is a $2 game that officially started Dec. 21, 2005.
