Canton Man Wins $10,000 Prize Instantly
A Canton man uncovered a $10,000 prize in the Missouri Lottery’s "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" Scratchers game on Nov. 30. Michael "Mike" Bringer Sr., 56, said he stopped at Pick-A-Dilly Quik Stop in Canton for a soda, and while there he also bought two Scratchers tickets. One turned out to be worth $10,000.
"We’ll use it (prize money) to pay bills," said Bringer, who is the head of maintenance and a bus driver for the Canton School District R-V. "We may go to Vegas."
This isn?t the first time Bringer has won a big prize playing the Lottery. Three years ago, he uncovered a $10,000 prize on another holiday-themed game. He said he and his wife, Roseanne, used that prize money to pay bills and take a trip to Branson.
The new "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" game, which officially started on Sept. 10, has the highest payout in the Lottery’s history and offers more than $102.5 million in cash prizes, including 10 top prizes of $1 million. More than 75.14 percent of the $10 game’s sales will be returned to players as prizes.
