Monett Woman Wins Early Birthday Present

Catherine Kay Mishler of Monett got an early birthday present when she uncovered $10,027 playing "Super 7 Bingo." The 44-year-old said she usually stops at the Midway Packages & Convenience Store, 397 S. Hwy. 37 in Monett, to play Scratchers and enjoy a cappuccino. Mishler said she scratched the ticket she bought on Nov. 18 at the store and it took a few minutes for her to believe she had won. She has already put some thought into what she plans to do with her winnings. "I’m going to buy a vehicle and be able to pay cash for it," Mishler said. "Super 7 Bingo," a $5 game, officially went on sale Aug. 20.
