Lottery Sends $18.8 Million To Education Fund

The Missouri Lottery today transferred $18.8 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education. The October transfer of $18,881,918 is based on September ticket sales, and brings the total transferred for the fiscal year to more than $71.3 million.
To date, the Missouri Lottery has generated more than $2.5 billion in proceeds for the state, including education, since ticket sales began in January 1986.
Five Scratchers To End Redemption
Five Missouri Lottery Scratchers games are scheduled to expire by the end of the year. Those games are:
  • 526, "Super Ruby Red 7’s," expires Nov. 1; ? 548, "Lucky Hearts," expires Nov. 1;
  • 506, "Lucky 7’s," expires Dec. 10;
  • 513, "Lots of Luck," expires Dec. 10; 
  • 552, "Leprechaun Luck," expires Dec. 10.
