Story Photo A group of 11 people, who purchased their Powerball ticket in Sedalia, is sharing a $200,000 prize from the Sept. 24 drawing. The group consists of: Dennis Spear, Fred Peters and Marshall Durham, all of Sedalia; Albert Cote and Don Petterson, both of Warrensburg; Brian Strong and Bernard Jones, both of Windsor; Jimmy Ivie Jr. of Clinton; Joyce Cote of Knob Noster; James Howard of Leeton; and Mike Fusaro of Calhoun. The group selected the winning numbers on a ticket purchased at Break Time, 2801 W. Broadway in Sedalia. The winning numbers were: 2, 10, 31, 43 and 55. Powerball’s new game design took effect on Aug. 28. The game changes were made to create larger and faster growing jackpots. The second- and third-level prizes also were increased, with the potential to win up to $1 million using the Power Play option.
