Washington Man Finds $10,000 Prize In Cash Spectacular

A Washington man is planning to finish rehabilitating a car and a house after he uncovered a $10,000 prize on a Missouri Lottery "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" Scratchers ticket he purchased at CITGO MPC 78, 1000 E. Fifth St. in Washington, on Sept. 22. Chet Howie, 54, said he and his wife, Karen, are currently remodeling their home, and he is restoring a 1995 Chrysler LeBaron convertible, so the money will come in handy.
Howie, who is retired, said he doesn’t buy many Lottery tickets, so he was surprised to see that his ticket was a big winner. T
he new "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" game, which officially started on Sept. 10, has the highest payout in the Lottery’s history and offers more than $102.5 million in cash prizes, including 10 top prizes of $1 million. More than 75.14 percent of the $10 game’s sales will be returned to players as prizes.
