Mountain Grove Woman Wins $10,000

A homemaker from Mountain Grove won $10,000 on a Missouri Lottery’s "$100,000 Ticket to Vegas" Scratchers ticket. Joanna Ice, 40, said she and her sister were on their way to play bingo Sept. 22 when they stopped at Richards Brothers, W. 102 Second St. in Mountain Grove, to buy a few Scratchers tickets. "I started screaming, hollering and jumping up and down when I saw what I won," Ice said. "Everyone in the store was happy for me." Ice said her husband, Tom, didn’t believe her at first when she called to tell him the good news. Ice said she doesn’t have any plans for her winnings yet. "$100,000 Ticket to Vegas," a $5 game, officially went on sale July 30.
