Sedalia Woman Wins $1,000 In New Cash Spectacular
A 19-year-old Sedalia woman is still thinking about ways she can spend the $1,000 prize she won playing the Missouri Lottery’s new "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" Scratchers game. Tiffany Ditzfeld purchased her winning ticket Sept. 15 at Break Time, 318 W. Broadway in Sedalia, after her dad told her he had luck with the new game.
"I just bought one ticket," Ditzfeld said. "After I scratched it off, I told my dad that we needed to go to Jeff City."
Ditzfeld said she recently got laid off work, so her winnings came at a good time.
The new "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" game, which officially started on Sept. 10, has the highest payout in the Lottery’s history and offers more than $102.5 million in cash prizes, including 10 top prizes of $1 million. More than 75.14 percent of the $10 game’s sales will be returned to players as prizes.
