Auxvasse Couple Uncovers $10,000 Prize In Cash Spectacular Game

Story Photo An Auxvasse couple who bought one $10 Missouri Lottery "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" Scratchers ticket ended up winning $10,000. Lisa Garner 27, said she sent her husband, Jeff, to Fastlane in Kingdom City on Sept. 14 to buy some Powerball tickets and one "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" ticket. When he got back home, the couple both took turns scratching the latex off the ticket and discovered their ticket was worth $10,000. The Garners say they plan to use their prize money to put a down payment on the home they are currently renting. "Now we can own it!" Lisa Garner said. In addition to the down payment, they also plan to use some of the money to pay for equipment for Jeff’s lawn care business. The new "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" game, which officially started on Sept. 10, has the highest payout in the Lottery’s history and offers more than $102.5 million in cash prizes, including 10 top prizes of $1 million. More than 75.14 percent of the $10 game’s sales will be returned to players as prizes.
