Columbia Realtor Wins $1,000 In New Cash Spectacular Game

Story Photo A Columbia realtor has an extra $1,000 after playing the Missouri Lottery’s new "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" Scratchers game. Erika Martin, 26, said she decided to buy a ticket from the game after hearing people at Snoddy’s Store in New Franklin talking about it. "We went to pick up our daughter, and we stopped (at Snoddy’s) for tea and beef jerky," said Martin. "A bunch of people were talking about the new ticket, so I decided to get one." Martin bought two of the new tickets and scratched them off later at home. She said she and her husband, Cody, haven’t decided what they will do with the money, other than depositing it into their bank account. The new "$100 Million Cash Spectacular" game, which officially started on Sept. 10, has the highest payout in the Lottery’s history and offers more than $102.5 million in cash prizes, including 10 top prizes of $1 million. More than 75.14 percent of the $10 game’s sales will be returned to players as prizes.
