A 44-year-old Jefferson City man is looking forward to taking a big bite out of his home loan after scratching off a $100,000 prize this morning in the Missouri Lottery’s "Cash Vault" instant game. Brent Brockmeyer said he purchased three of the $3 tickets at Convenient Food Mart, 3714 W. Truman Blvd. in Jefferson City when he stopped for a soda before work. According to Brockmeyer, "the third one was the charm." Brockmeyer is the district manager for Movie Gallery. He and his wife, Karen, are the parents of three children ranging in age from 7 to 18. In addition to Brockmeyer’s win, a SHOW ME 5 ticket worth $25,000 tax-paid* was sold in Jefferson City for Friday night’s drawing. That prize, which is still unclaimed, was sold at Break Time, 627 Clark Ave. The winning numbers are: 7, 8, 10, 14 and 25. The winner has one year from the drawing date to claim the prize.
