Illinois Woman Wins $5,003 Playing Keno at the Lake
Visiting friends at the Lake of the Ozarks during the Labor Day holiday weekend paid off for one Wood River, Ill., woman. Anne Buehlman, 50, said she and her friends went to nearby Kula Bay Lounge and Grille in Sunrise Beach for some drinks on Sept. 3. While there, Buehlman used her favorite combination of seven birthdays to play the Missouri Lottery’s Club Keno game and won $5,003 in the third drawing.
"I play those same numbers in the Illinois Lottery," she said.
Buehlman, who tests ammunition for Winchester Ammunition in East Alton, Ill., said she already bought dinner for her friends, and she plans to use the remaining prize money for a vacation fund.
Players can win from $1 to $100,000 per $1 ticket per drawing in Club Keno. For an extra $1, players can chose the Bulls-Eye option and win between $5 and $50 for matching just the Bulls-Eye number.
