Ferguson Millionaire Still Playing, Winning

When Martin King of Ferguson won $29.1 million playing Lotto America, the predecessor to Powerball, on Sept. 6, 1989, he didn’t quit playing or winning the Lottery. On Aug. 20, King played four numbers ? 0, 2, 3 and 7 ? in the Missouri Lottery’s midday Pick 4 game and won another $3,000.
King said the four numbers were "just some numbers I came up with." He said the recent winnings would be used as "fishing money."
King bought his winning Pick 4 ticket at Rapid Robert’s, 1847 State Highway KK in Osage Beach.
Pick 4 is a daily Numbers Game that offers players a chance to win up to $6,000 by picking four numbers between 0 and 9. Players can also allow the computer to generate four numbers randomly for them.
