Hannibal Man Uncovers $50,000 On Scratchers Ticket

A Hannibal man is $50,000 richer after uncovering a top prize on a Missouri Lottery "Crossword" Scratchers ticket. Ronnie Abright, 43, said he may buy a "cheap house" with his prize money, and he will probably buy a new lawn mower with some of the money.
Abright bought his winning ticket Aug. 19 at Union Street Express in Hannibal. He uncovered the prize on the ticket later that day at home.
"I’m excited about it," he said. "I’ll be able to do a lot of things with the money."
The Missouri Lottery’s $3 "Crossword" game officially started July 2.
