Lottery Sends $17.3 Million To Education Fund

The Missouri Lottery today transferred $17.3 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education. The August transfer of $17,316,617 is based on July ticket sales, and brings the total transferred for the fiscal year to more than $34 million.
To date, the Missouri Lottery has generated more than $2.4 billion in proceeds for the state, including education, since ticket sales began in January 1986.
Time Is Running Out On Eight Scratchers Prizes
Eight Missouri Lottery Scratchers games are scheduled to expire by the end of the year. Those games are:
  • 480 "$25,000 Cash Vault" expires Sept. 18;
  • 482 "Diamond Dollars" expires Sept. 18;
  • 490 "Tax-Paid $20,000 Grand" expires Sept. 18;
  • 492 "Doubling 8?s" expires Sept. 18; ?501 "High Stakes" expires Sept. 18;
  • 504 "$300,000 Cash Spectacular" expires Sept. 18;
  • 519 "Sapphire Blue 7?s" expires Sept. 28;
  • 520 "Triple Dough" expires Sept. 28.
