Springfield Man Wins $100,000 Instantly

Thomas "Tom" Lewis said he may also buy a fishing boat with his windfall. "I’m also going to give some to my mom," he said. "She has some repairs she needs done on her house, and she’s been worrying about how she was going to pay for it. I told her, ’You’re going to let me take care of it.’" Lewis, who works in shipping and receiving for Encore Inc. in Springfield, also plans to share some prize money with his fiancÚ. Lewis purchased his winning ticket at Kum & Go, 2404 E. Sunshine in Springfield. "$100,000 Stacks of Cash,? a $5 game, officially went on sale June 4.
