Lebanon Man Wins $27,777 Instantly

Story Photo A trip for coffee paid off for a Lebanon man after he won $27,777 playing a Missouri Lottery "Gold 7’s" Scratchers ticket. Randall Coffman, 49, said he went to B & D Auto Truck Plaza, 2031 W. Elm in Lebanon, the evening of July 22 for coffee and decided to buy three Scratchers tickets. The second ticket he scratched proved to be worth $27,777. "My roommate was there, too, and I had to holler at him to come and look at (the ticket) to make sure I wasn’t looking at it wrong," Coffman said. "I still can’t believe it." Coffman said after placing the winning ticket in a secure location, he then had to "sit and wait for the Lottery office to open. I haven’t slept much all weekend," he said when he claimed his prize July 25. Coffman said he plans to use his winnings to pay off some loans, possibly get another car and maybe take a vacation. "Gold 7’s," a $2 game, officially started July 2.
