LAKE OZARK MAN COOKS UP $10,000
A cook in Lake Ozark may have some new sights and sounds in his future after scratching off $10,000 in the Missouri Lottery’s "Payday" instant game. Calvin Jones, 40, said he may use the windfall to buy new glasses and a stereo.
Jones purchased his winning ticket Monday at Kaiser Kountry Kash & Karry, Highway 42 in Kaiser.
Jones is the second person in the Lake area to uncover a $10,000 prize in "Payday." On March 21, Ed Oberdieck, 63, scratched off a $10,000 prize on a "Payday" ticket he purchased at J & D Super Stop in Greenview.
