O'Fallon Man Wins $50,000 In Keno
Playing a "line of 4s" paid off for an O’Fallon carpenter on May 20 when his eight Club Keno numbers – found in a "line" formation on the playslip – were drawn to win $50,000. Chris McLane, 44, said he stopped in Elmer’s Old Town Tavern in St. Peters after he and some co-workers decided it was too muddy to finish building a deck. He bought a ticket good for 10 games; the second game was the winner. The eight winning numbers were 4, 14, 24, 34, 44, 54, 64 and 74.
"I usually go there on a rainy day," he said.
McLane, who said he plays Club Keno a couple of times a week, and his wife, Laverne, plan to use the prize money to pay some bills and do some remodeling.
Players can win from $1 to $100,000 per $1 ticket per drawing in Club Keno. For an extra $1, players can chose the Bulls-Eye option and win between $5 and $50 for matching just the Bulls-Eye number. Players can win as much as $300,000 by matching all the numbers and the Bulls-Eye number in a 10-spot game. For more information about Club Keno and the Bulls-Eye feature, go to www.molottery.com.
