Lottery Send $17.1 Million To Education

The Missouri Lottery today transferred $17.1 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education. The May transfer, which was $17,118,614, is based on ticket sales in April. It brings the total proceeds for fiscal year 2005 to more than $198 million.
Since Lottery ticket sales began in 1986, the Missouri Lottery has generated more than $2.4 billion in proceeds for the state, including education.
Seven Scratchers Games Expire In June
Seven Missouri Lottery Scratchers games will expire by the end of June. Those games are:
  • Game 474 "Quick 7’s" expires June 15;
  • Game 502 "Lucky Gold" expires June 15;
  • Game 509 "Dream Stakes" expires June 26;
  • Game 514 "$100,000 Riches" expires June 26;
  • Game 515 "Silver & Gold" expires June 26;
  • Game 516 "Lost Treasure Adventure" expires June 26;
  • Game 527 "Scary Money" expires June 26.
