FIRST 16 LUAU GUESTS DRAWN

Sixteen football fans were selected in the first of three drawings to attend the Missouri Lottery’s "Luckytown Luau Tailgate Party" at Arrowhead Stadium on Dec. 18. In addition to the tailgate party and two tickets to the Kansas City-versus-Pittsburgh football game, those drawn today will also have a chance to win a trip for two to the all-star professional football game in Honolulu in February. The first 16 winners are: William Armstrong, Nancy Bean, Tommy Gardner, Mark Tatum and Gregory Van Trece, all of Kansas City; Norman Arp, Betty Arp, Hope Hill, and W.S. Whitlock, all of Independence; Sue Warner of Lee’s Summit; Joseph Bellard of Grandview; Jean Shepard of Chanute, Kan.; Carla Showers of Hugoton, Kan.; Michael Hawkins and Jim Hodges, both of Springfield; and Barbara Yates of Marshfield. The lottery will hold two more drawings in the "Luckytown Luau Tailgate Party" promotion. Sixteen fans will be drawn on both Nov. 19 and Dec. 9 for a total of 48 players and their guests who will attend the Dec. 18 football game and tailgate. In addition, one of the 48 winners will be drawn on the day of the game to win a trip for two, complete with airfare, accommodations and game tickets, to the all-star professional football game in Honolulu in February 2000. To enter the promotion, players can submit entry slips found at retail locations and in the Kansas City "Tailgate Times" publication. Entries will be accepted by mail and at fan information booths at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City through Dec. 8.
