St. Louis Woman Finds $77,000 Top Prize

A St. Louis (63115*) woman still "can’t believe it" after she uncovered a $77,000 top prize on a Missouri Lottery "Super Sapphire Blue 7’s" Scratchers ticket on May 2. Victoria "Vickie" Williams, 45, said she stopped at Smitty’s South King Amoco, 4901 Southwest Ave. in St. Louis, and bought six tickets: one $5 "Super Sapphire Blue 7’s" ticket and five tickets from a $1 game. The $5 ticket turned out to be worth the game’s top prize of $77,000.
"I will use it (prize money) to pay bills," she said. "I’ll probably give a little to my church, too."
Williams said she also plans to make a few repairs on her home, like the roof and the basement.
"Super Sapphire Blue 7’s," a $5 game, officially went on sale Feb. 26.
