Three $100,000 Powerball Prizes To Expire Soon

Now is the time to do some spring cleaning! Three $100,000 Powerball prizes will expire within the next month. The tickets were sold at:
  • Earth City Moto Mart, 3298 Ridertrail South in Earth City, for the Nov. 24, 2004, drawing. The ticket expires May 23. The winning numbers for that drawing were: 3, 19, 47, 49 and 53.
  • Wilco Fast Break, 807 Marion City Road in Palmyra, for the Dec. 4, 2004, drawing. The ticket expires June 2. The winning numbers are: 6, 9, 16, 22 and 30.
  • Schnucks Market, 950 Loughborough in St. Louis, for the Dec. 8, 2004, drawing. This ticket expires June 6. The winning numbers are: 13, 17, 35, 45 and 50.
"We would like to see these prizes get claimed," said Gary Gonder, director of communications for the Missouri Lottery. "If you have Powerball tickets from past drawings, it would be smart to check those tickets. You might be in for a big surprise."
Gonder said even if you don’t find that you’ve won one of these $100,000 prizes, you might find that you’ve won one of eight other prizes in the game.
Unclaimed Missouri Lottery prizes are sent to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs. For a complete list of programs funded by the Lottery, go to http://www.molottery.com/learnaboutus/wherethemoneygoes/wherethemoneygoes.shtm.
Missouri Powerball players have 180 days from the drawing to claim a prize.
