Just one month after retiring, a Sikeston man can add $100,000 to his income after matching all five white balls in Saturday’s Powerball drawing. John Jackovic, 66, said he and his wife, Patricia, plan to use some of the winnings for a planned trip to Florida this winter. Jackovic purchased his winning ticket last Friday at Stan’s Food Mart, 700 N. Main in Sikeston, when he stopped for some groceries. He said he buys one Powerball and one Lotto ticket for each drawing. Jackovic let the computer select the winning numbers: 3, 16, 24, 28 and 38. Jackovic is a retired concrete building materials salesman. To date, 464 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers to win the $100,000 prize since the game began in 1992.
