LOTTERY TRANSFERS $11.8 MILLION TO EDUCATION FUND
The Missouri Lottery today sent $11.8 million to the Lottery Proceeds Fund for public education programs. The transfer of $11,814,012 is based on lottery ticket sales in October. This month’s proceeds brings the total transfer for fiscal year 2000 to more than $61 million.
Since lottery sales began more than 13 years ago, the lottery has provided the state, including education, with more than $1.4 billion.
