Overland Grandfather Planning Trip to Visit Grandson

Story Photo A grandfather in Overland is planning a trip to Las Vegas to visit his daughter and two-year-old grandson after he found out he won $100,000 playing Powerball on March 5. Clifford Stellar, 68, said he also plans to "ease up on work" in light of winning the prize. Stellar works in shipping and receiving for a print shop. Stellar picked his five winning numbers at random on the ticket he bought at Smoke Shack, 9742 Lackland Road in Overland. The winning numbers were: 9, 13, 27, 40 and 53. To date, 729 tickets worth $100,000 have been sold in Missouri since the Powerball game started in April 1992.
