Arnold School Attendance Secretary Tallies $77,000 Prize

An attendance secretary for Seckman Middle School in Imperial has an extra $77,000 to keep tabs on after she uncovered the top prize on a Missouri Lottery "Super Sapphire Blue 7’s" Scratchers ticket. Eva Patrick, 44, of Arnold said she and her husband, Art, plan to use the money to pay off bills and to put some into savings for her two children’s college.
"I might buy a really good bottle of champagne (to celebrate), too," she said.
Patrick purchased her winning ticket on March 11 at the Smoke Shop, 1389 Jeffco Blvd. in Arnold. "
Super Sapphire Blue 7’s," a $5 game, officially went on sale Feb. 26.
