Marionville Man Wins $100,000 Playing Powerball

William "Bill" Weathermon, 40, said he plans to use the prize money to pay off his and his fiancÚ’s debts. He also plans to use some money for a tropical honeymoon. "We might go to the Bahamas," said Weathermon, who works for Continental Conveyors in Mount Vernon. "And I’ll stick some of it back for a rainy day." Weathermon purchased his winning ticket at Hot Spot, 548 N. Spring Park Blvd. in Mount Vernon. He let the computer pick the winning combination, which was 10, 17, 20, 23 and 45. To date, 729 tickets worth $100,000 have been sold in Missouri since the Powerball game started in April 1992.
