Paris Woman Has the Luck O' The Irish
A Paris nurse found her pot of gold a day early when she bought a Missouri Lottery "Leprechaun Luck" Scratchers ticket and it turned out to be worth $20,000. Rhonda Herron, 49, said she stopped at Abel’s Quik Shop in Paris on March 16 and bought five of the $2 tickets. The third one she scratched off was worth $20,000 and the fifth one was worth $30.
"I’ll put it (money) away in savings," said Herron, who is a registered nurse at Audrain Medical Center in Mexico. "I’ll also buy a few things I’ve been wanting."
Herron said she plans to buy a new television and a printer base for her digital camera. She also would like to help her sister and her niece.
?Leprechaun Luck,? a $2 game, officially went on sale Jan. 29.
