Fayette Woman Wins $30,000 At Bobber

Story Photo A Fayette woman got more than a great lunch at the Bobber Restaurant in Boonville on Feb. 26, when she stopped to eat and bought a few Missouri Lottery Scratchers tickets. Carol Felten, 44, bought four Scratchers tickets and won $30,000. "I bought it (ticket) because I played that game before and won $30," she said. "When I won the $30,000, I said, ’I’ve got to sit down for a minute.’" Felten said she and her husband, Dale, plan to use the prize money to pay a few bills and enjoy some of the money. She said they may also put a little "back" to use for a trip this summer. Felten is the secretary for the family’s business, Felton Auto Service in New Franklin. She said she is also a school crossing guard in Fayette and a "farmer’s wife." ?Triple Fortune,? a $2 game, officially went on sale Jan. 29.
