Imperial Man Wins $100,000 Powerball Prize

Story Photo An Imperial family can go house hunting after winning $100,000 in the Jan. 22 Powerball drawing. Daryl Blue, 49, purchased his winning ticket for the Jan. 22 drawing at Schnucks Market, 3900 Vogel Road in Arnold. He used Quick Pick to select his winning combination. It was: 11, 23, 32, 33 and 34. "We have some medical bills we plan to pay off," said Mary Blue, Daryl’s wife. "We also want to put some money down on a house and set up a trust fund for our 11-year-old daughter’s college education." Blue, a car mechanic, said he usually plays Powerball. To date, 721 tickets worth $100,000 have been sold in Missouri since the Powerball game started in April 1992.
