Jefferson City Woman Wins $1,005

A Jefferson City woman was shocked to find that she had won $1,005 when she uncovered the prize on a "$100,000 Bingo" Scratchers ticket on Jan. 27. Teresa Johnson, 33, said she stopped in Binder Market in Jefferson City just before heading out of town to visit some relatives. "I almost hit the floor," said Johnson. "It’s my daughter’s birthday today, and I’m taking her to see her grandma. It must be my lucky day, too." Johnson, who works as a cashier at Wal-mart, said she planned to put the money into savings.
