Barnett Woman Wins $30,000

A Barnett homemaker whipped up an extra $30,000 for her and her family after she uncovered the top prize on a Missouri Lottery "Fast $50" Scratchers ticket. Stacey Lewis, 26, said she stopped in North Side Conoco in Eldon on Jan. 25 to get a cup of coffee. While there, she bought five Scratchers tickets and the $30,000 winner was the first one she played. "Another one was a $30 winner, too," she said. "I did a dance." Lewis and her husband, James, said they plan to use the windfall to help purchase a house and buy "some stuff for the kids." ?Fast $50,? a $2 game, officially went on sale Dec. 8.
