CEDAR HILL MAN FALLS INTO POT O' GOLD

A Cedar Hill feed mill worker fell into a $20,000 "pot of gold" yesterday when he made a trip to the convenience store for his boss. Ryan Smith, 18, said his boss asked him to go to Convenient Mart Shell, Highway BB and 30 in Cedar Hill, to buy Blimpie sub sandwiches for the office crew. While there, Smith redeemed a winning lottery ticket he had in his pocket and purchased just one "Pot O’ Gold" Scratchers ticket. It turned out to be worth $20,000. "It about gave me a heart attack," Smith told lottery officials when he claimed his prize today. Smith said he plans to buy some land with his windfall. To play "Pot O’ Gold," match any of your numbers to either of the lucky numbers, and win the prize for that number. Reveal a "shamrock" symbol and win that prize automatically.
