Linn Creek Woman Wins $5,000 Playing Keno At Sharkeys

Story Photo A Linn Creek woman who went to sample some of her son’s cooking at Sharkeys in Osage Beach on Jan. 4 wound up winning $5,000 by playing Club Keno. JoAnne Mihelcich, 68, said she was having lunch when she put down $20, $1 for 20 consecutive Club Keno games. She matched nine numbers on a 10-spot game on the last game on her ticket. "I love it (Club Keno)," said Mihelcich, who retired as a premium sales representative in Chicago several years ago. "The whole place knew it (her win.)" Mihelcich said she plans to "go shopping at The Little Shop of Hers and Target" with her prize money. Club Keno began in May 2002. Players can win from $1 to $100,000 per $1 ticket per drawing. Players who use Bulls-Eye could win between $2 and $50 for matching just the Bulls-Eye number and as much as $300,000 by matching all 10 numbers, including the Bulls-Eye number, in a 10-spot $1 game.
