Blue Springs Man Wins $100,000 In Powerball

Story Photo A Blue Springs paint technician will be out car shopping during this holiday season after winning $100,000 playing Powerball in Missouri. Theodore "Ted" Fetters, 60, said he might use the prize money to buy a new car. Fetter, a paint technician for an automotive supplier, purchased his winning ticket for the Dec. 18 drawing at Blue Springs 66, 1202 N. 7 Highway in Blue Springs. He let the computer pick the combinations on his ticket. The winning numbers were: 1, 25, 29, 30 and 45. To date, 716 tickets worth $100,000 have been sold in Missouri since the Powerball game started in April 1992.
