County Clerk In Hermann Finds $2,100 In Work Stocking

Story Photo The county clerk for Gasconade County got her stocking filled to the brim this holiday season when a co-worker gave her two Missouri Lottery tickets, and one turned out to be worth $2,100. Lesa Lietzow, 44, said her co-worker, Lynn Kurrelmeyer, put two in Lietzow and another co-worker’s stockings hanging at work. When Lietzow scratched off her tickets on Dec. 17, the first one was a free-ticket winner and the second one was a $2,100 winner. "I’ll probably use it for Christmas and taxes," she said, when she claimed her prize on Dec. 21. "I will probably do something for Lynn, too." According to Lottery records, Kurrelmeyer purchased the winning tickets at Hermann BP, 500 Market St. in Hermann. ?7-11-21,? a $1 game, officially went on sale Sept. 9, 2004.
