Montgomery City Man Wins Trip To Vegas
A 40-year-old Montgomery City man can look forward to a trip to Las Vegas after uncovering a trip prize in the Missouri Lottery’s "Viva Las Vegas" Scratchers game. Randy Overkamp said he has been to Las Vegas three times, and he really enjoys it.
"I bought the (winning) ticket a couple weeks ago," he said. "My wife, Robin, will go on the trip with me."
Overkamp, who manages a farm store, purchased the winning ticket at Save More Warehouse Foods in Montgomery City.
Overkamp’s travel package includes a four-day, three-night trip for two to Las Vegas, round-trip airfare, a choice of deluxe hotel accommodations, hotel ground transfers to and from the airport and $500 spending money. The Lottery will pay 25 percent of federal and 4 percent of state withholding taxes based on the total trip prize value.
In addition to 60 trip prizes in the $5 "Viva Las Vegas" game, there are also thousands of cash prizes, including $100,000 prizes.
