A high Powerball jackpot prompted one Arkansas woman to check past tickets only to discover one worth $100,000. Lois Stevens said she had about four tickets in her wallet that she hadn’t checked until June 29; the winning ticket was from the Jan. 27 drawing. Stevens purchased her winning ticket at Underwoods Express Mart in Ava. She let the computer pick the winning combination. The winning numbers were: 2, 4, 20, 23 and 44. Stevens, who is disabled, said she will invest the prize money. To date, 455 Powerball tickets sold in Missouri have matched all five white-ball numbers to win the $100,000 prize since the game began in 1992.
