Moberly Mail Carrier Wins $3,250
A Moberly mail carrier won $3,250 the second time he played Pick 4. Randy Clark, 45, said he normally plays Lotto and Powerball for each draw. When he asked a clerk to give him one of each - which to him meant one Lotto ticket and one Powerball ticket, she accidentally gave him one ticket for all five Numbers Games. The next time he went to buy his jackpot-game tickets, for Dec. 3, he decided to buy one of all the five Numbers Games. His Pick 4 Quick Pick ticket turned out to be worth $3,250.
Clark said he will probably use his prize money for Christmas expenses.
"I might take a trip, too," he said.
Clark purchased his winning ticket at Riley’s Self Serv in Moberly. The winning numbers were 0, 1, 0 and 4.
Pick 4 is a daily Numbers Game that offers players a chance to win up to $6,000 by picking four numbers between 0 and 9. Players can also allow the computer to generate four numbers randomly for them.
