Business Owner Wins $1,120 Playing Keno

Story Photo A drywall business owner is $1,120 richer after his six lucky numbers came up in Club Keno on Dec. 2. Keith Carpenter, 46, of Sturgeon, who owns J.C. Drywall in Columbia, said he played a combination of his birthday and a friend’s birthday on a six-spot game at the Elks, 805 Business 63 North in Columbia. Those winning numbers were: 3, 6, 13, 15, 58 and 68. Carpenter said he may use some of the winnings for Christmas presents. "My daughter wants a laptop," he said. Club Keno began in May 2002. Players who use Bulls-Eye could win between $2 and $50 for matching just the Bulls-Eye number and as much as $300,000 by matching all 10 numbers, including the Bulls-Eye number, in a 10-spot $1 game.
