Centralia Woman Wins $1,000 On Holiday Ticket

A Centralia woman is $1,000 richer after she uncovered the cash prize on a Missouri Lottery "Ho Ho Holidays" Scratchers ticket. Nancy Adams, 40, said she could definitely use the prize money, since her home burned down a month ago.
"We’ll use the money to pay bills," she said. "We may buy some more saddles for our horses, too."
Adams said she bought two of the $1 holiday tickets and one "Crossword" ticket a couple of weeks ago, when she stopped at Break Time, 117 Highway 22 W. in Centralia.
"Ho Ho Holidays," a $2 game, officially went on sale Oct. 30.
