An Arkansas man’s summer just got hotter after he scratched off a trip for four to Florida in the Missouri Lottery’s "Green Thunder" instant game. Martin "Marty" Daniel, 39, of Omaha, Ark., said he’s never been to Orlando, Fla., but he is looking forward to the trip. Daniel purchased his winning ticket in late June at Rapid Roberts, Highway 65 in Ridgedale. He only bought one "Green Thunder" ticket, and it turned out to be a top-prize winner. Daniel said he and his wife will probably take their four children on the Florida vacation, which is scheduled around the DAYTONA 500 Race next February. A total of 15 trips will be awarded through the "Green Thunder" instant game. The trips for four include airline tickets, hotel accommodations, tickets to the DAYTONA 500 Race, tickets to the NAPA Auto Parts 300 Race, passes to Orlando theme parks and $500 cash. In addition, withholding taxes of 28 percent federal and 4 percent state will be paid by the Lottery. The Missouri Lottery will also be awarding 100 similar Florida trip packages in the first of a two-part summer promotion. The first promotion, called "Green Thunder," started June 14 and runs through July 16.
