Jefferson City Men Share $1,400 Keno Prize

Story Photo Four Jefferson City friends are sharing more than good will during this holiday season after they played Club Keno as a group and won $1,400. Phil Schnieders, 43, Jeff Spies, 43, Mark Fleischmann, 46, and Harry Rudder, 53, all of Jefferson City, each chipped in $20 to play their birth months on a 4-spot Club Keno game on Nov. 21, while they watched a NASCAR race at the Knights of Columbus in Jefferson City. Their four numbers ? 2, 9, 10 and 12 ? were drawn and the men won $1,400. It was the first time the four men played Club Keno as a group. Schnieders, who turned in the claim forms, said they will probably use the winnings for Christmas expenses. "It’s the perfect time of the year to win," he said. Club Keno began in May 2002. Players can win from $1 to $100,000 per $1 ticket per drawing. Players who use Bulls-Eye could win between $2 and $50 for matching just the Bulls-Eye number and as much as $300,000 by matching all 10 numbers, including the Bulls-Eye number, in a 10-spot $1 game.
