Bland Resident Wins $1,000 With One Number
One isn’t such a lonely number for a Bland resident, who played one number ? 33 ? in Club Keno on Nov. 21 and won $1,000 when it was drawn. Tommy Overstreet, 31, said he was eating supper with some friends at the Tail Spin Bar & Grill in Belle, when he decided to play Club Keno. The bartender suggested he play the number "33," so he played $20 on it with a Bulls-Eye and won $1,000.
Besides taking his friends to Red Lobster for lunch on Nov. 22, Overstreet, a construction worker, said he has "no clue" how he will spend his prize money.
Club Keno began in May 2002. Players can win from $1 to $100,000 per $1 ticket per drawing. Players who use Bulls-Eye could win between $2 and $50 for matching just the Bulls-Eye number and as much as $300,000 by matching all 10 numbers, including the Bulls-Eye number, in a 10-spot $1 game.
